AMHSI - Alexander Muss High School in Israel
Alexander Muss High School in Israel, known to most as AMHSI, is the ultimate college prep program, offering an unbelievable opportunity for high school students to immerse themselves in over 4,000 years of Jewish and Israeli history while keeping up with their classwork from home. Proudly partnered with @jewish national fund-usa (JNF-USA), AMHSI is widely recognized as the leading non-denominational academic Israel experience designed to promote, build, and strengthen lifelong bonds between youth and Israel through the study of the history and culture of the people of Israel. AMHSI was established in 1972 by Rabbi Morrie Kipper (z"l) and Lenore Kipper in concert with the Greater Miami Jewish Federation and has impacted over 30,000 alumni over our 50+ year history. Learning at the sites where history took place, AMHSI’s students use the land of Israel as a “living classroom” as they keep up with their high school subjects, such as math, science, and foreign language, and receive full credit for their work. Students may also be eligible to receive up to 6 transferable college credits through the University of Miami. With our classic campus located in Hod HaSharon and our brand-new campus opening in Be’er Sheva, AMHSI is proud to offer 2 8-week mini-mester sessions, 2 full semester sessions, and 5 summer experience programs throughout the year. AMHSI also works with individual day schools and community groups to design programs tailored to meet each group’s unique educational goals.
