Jan Kucmas

Jan Kucmas is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in crisis communications, media training, and public relations. Since April 2005, Jan has served as a partner at AMI Communications, managing the Bulgarian and Slovak offices while overseeing industry, energy, and real estate client groups. Previously, Jan held the position of Chairman of the Executive Board at APRA from February 2015 to January 2019 and served as Editor-in-Chief at Strategie. Jan's earlier roles include Communication Director at Eurotel, where responsibilities encompassed media relations, corporate social responsibility, and managing key customer events. Jan's educational background includes a Master's degree in Regional Studies focused on Eastern Europe and two Bachelor's degrees in Political Science and Journalism from FSV UK.
