Jens Cermak

With over 25 years of experience in finance, strategic planning and operations, Jens Cermak leads the accounting, finance and technology divisions for Amica, known for its growth and position as Canada’s most highly-valued senior lifestyles brand.

Jens joined Amica in 2020 with a focus on strategic insight, automation, standardization, innovation and a strong control environment. Previously he served as Senior Vice President, Director of Operations and Senior Vice President, Finance, Systems & Loss Prevention at TJX Canada, among other roles. During his time at TJX Canada, Jens led 400+ stores with over 20,000 team members across Canada. Prior to this, Jens held progressively senior finance roles at internationally recognized brands such as Grand & Toy, Pepsi and Labatt.

Jens is a Chartered Professional Accountant and Certified Management Accountant who received an Honours BA from the University of Toronto.

Jens currently sits on the board of the Amica Helping Hands Charity, and was a past co-chair of the TJX Canada Charitable Foundation for five years.
