Shak Chowdhury is an experienced professional in the construction and infrastructure sector, currently serving as the Vice President of Collaborative Contracts and Social Infrastructure at Amico Affiliates since October 2022. Additionally, Shak holds the position of Project Co Representative for the Grandview Children's Treatment Centre Redevelopment Project under the Children First Consortium- Amico Sacyr Partnership. Prior to these roles, Shak served as Regional Vice President at Dragados Canada, leading business development and bidding efforts for significant infrastructure projects in Western Canada and Ontario. Shak's extensive career includes leadership roles at Kier Group, Mace Group, Catalyst Lend Lease, and Lend Lease, alongside project management experience with Bowmer and Kirkland and Laing O'Rourke. Shak holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Liverpool.

The original corporate entity of Amico was created in April, 1987 when company owner and president, Mr. Dominic Amicone began business as Amico Contracting & Engineering Inc. Located just outside of the City of Windsor in Oldcastle, Ontario the majority of the company’s early construction activity occurred in the Windsor/Essex County area.
