Alastair Reed

Alastair Reed has extensive experience in tax management and compliance. Alastair started their career at Deloitte UK as a Manager in Corporate Tax, where they worked from 2002 to 2008. Alastair then joined BP as a Contracting Tax Advisor for Corporate Tax Compliance for a few months in 2009. After that, Alastair worked at Expro as a Tax Compliance and Reporting Manager from 2009 to 2011. Alastair then became an International Tax Manager at Hertz Europe Limited from 2011 to 2015. Alastair then joined PRA Health Sciences as a Senior Tax Manager in 2015, where they managed tax matters in the EAPA region until 2020. Currently, Alastair is working at Amicus Therapeutics, initially as an Associate Director, International Tax Lead from 2020 to 2023 and currently as a Director, International Tax Lead. In this role, Alastair oversees tax compliance, reporting, VAT compliance, and other tax obligations, as well as documentation of intercompany arrangements and compliance with transfer pricing arrangements. Alastair also stays updated on changes in organizational structure and implements necessary measures for operating across borders.

Alastair Reed obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry with Cellular & Molecular Biology from the University of Birmingham in the years 1994-1997. Alastair also received the certification of Chartered Accountant, ACA, from the Institute of Chartered Accountants England & Wales in 2005.
