Joseph Berry

Joseph Berry has extensive work experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. Joseph has held various roles in companies such as KRK Group, Amicus Therapeutics, Pacira Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Afaxys, QRx Pharma, Novartis, Chiron, Bristol Myers Squibb, and CIBA Consumer.

At KRK Group, they served as the President, providing strategic consulting services for small/midsize biotechnology companies. Joseph specialized in rare disease manufacturing network development.

At Amicus Therapeutics, Joseph held multiple roles, including VP MSAT, SVP Global Technical Operations, Acting Head of Technical Operations, Executive Director of CMC Lead Biologic Manufacturing, Sr. Director External Manufacturing, Sr. Director Supply Chain, and Director Supply Chain Operations. Joseph was responsible for leading various aspects of technical operations, including QA, global supply operations, business process improvement, and CMC related activities for gene therapy, biologics, and small molecules.

Prior to Amicus Therapeutics, they also worked as the Interim Director of Procurement at Pacira Pharmaceuticals, Inc., and as the VP Supply Chain Operations at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals.

Joseph's earlier work experience includes roles as the Vice President of Supply and Distribution Operations at Afaxys, VP Operations at QRx Pharma, Exec. Dir. at Novartis, and Sr. Director leading the External Manufacturing group at Chiron (post acquisition by Novartis). Joseph began their career at Bristol Myers Squibb as a Global Category Leader and at CIBA Consumer as a Sr. Scientist.

Joseph Berry attended Rutgers University from 1978 to 1987, where they obtained a BS Pharm/MS degree in Pharmacy/Pharmaceutics. Joseph also earned a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from Rutgers University from 1978 to 1983. In April 2019, they obtained a Pharmacy License from the NJ Board of Pharmacy.
