M. Osman Sheikh

M. Osman Sheikh, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and institutions. M. Osman is currently employed at Amicus Therapeutics, where they hold the position of Associate Director and Principal Investigator since January 2023. Before that, they served as an Associate Principal Investigator, specializing in Bioanalytical Mass Spectrometry, from July 2021 to January 2023. Prior to joining Amicus Therapeutics, they worked at the same company as a Senior Research Investigator II from February 2020 to July 2021 and as a Senior Research Investigator I from June 2019 to February 2020.

Before joining Amicus Therapeutics, Dr. Sheikh held a position as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Georgia Complex Carbohydrate Research Center from June 2015 to June 2019. Their earlier work experience includes serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, College of Medicine from August 2010 to May 2015, where they worked in the Laboratory of Dr. Christopher M. West in the Department of Biochemistry & Molecular Biology.

M. Osman Sheikh, Ph.D. received a Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry, magna cum laude, from the University of Oklahoma in 2010. From 2010 to 2015, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.
