Rakhi Butani

Rakhi Butani is an accomplished professional in the field of drug safety and pharmacovigilance, currently serving as Associate Director of Global Drug Safety at Amicus Therapeutics since March 2020. Prior experience includes roles as Global Safety Scientist at Takeda from April 2018 to March 2020, and Senior Pharmacovigilance Scientist at AstraZeneca from September 2014 to April 2018. Rakhi's career began at Novartis, where roles included Senior Medical Writer and Senior Clinical Safety Scientist from October 1999 to July 2009. Additionally, Rakhi contributed to clinical risk management and safety surveillance as a Senior Scientist at Schering-Plough Research Institute from July 2009 to October 2011. Rakhi holds a PharmD in Pharmacy from Rutgers University.
