Tyler Johnson has a diverse work experience in various organizations. Tyler is currently working as the Director of Discovery Research and Gene Therapy Science at Amicus Therapeutics since July 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Principal Investigator in vivo Pharmacology/Bioanalytical Assay Development at the same company from December 2019 to July 2021.
Before joining Amicus Therapeutics, Tyler worked as a Visiting Scientist at Sanford Research from December 2019. Prior to that, they served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Sanford Research from August 2016 to December 2019.
Tyler's career began at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant from June 2011 to August 2016. Tyler gained further experience at Pfizer as a Microbiologist Assistant and Fermentation Technologist from April 2010 to June 2011.
Tyler Johnson earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from Black Hills State University, where they studied from 2005 to 2009. Tyler later pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in the same field of study at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln from 2011 to 2016.
