Sheri Duxin

Sheri Duxin is a seasoned professional in social work and community-based services, currently serving as the Manager of Community Based Services at Amida Care. Previously, Sheri held the position of Manager of the Intensive Case Management Program at Emblem Health from April 2008 to December 2011, overseeing HEIDIS compliance. Prior to that role, Sheri served as the Associate Director of HIP from October 2000 to April 2008, and also worked as an Associate Director of Mental Health Services. Sheri has academic experience as an Adjunct Professor at Columbia University School of Social Work from 1998 to 2008. Sheri holds a Master's Degree in Clinical/Medical Social Work from New York University School of Social Work (1978-1980) and a Bachelor's Degree in Anthropology and Sociology with a Minor in Political Science from Hofstra University, studied from 1973 to the present. Additional education includes ongoing studies at Adelphi University since 1983.
