Matthew is a co-founder of Amida, and has extensive experience in Healthcare Information Technology, particularly in the federal sector. Prior to Amida, Matthew was a Presidential Innovation Fellow, building open source and reusable components within the Department of Veterans Affairs for their “Blue Button” program. Matthew also helped launch OSEHRA, an organization dedicated to growing the adoption of the Department of Veterans Affairs open source Electronic Medical Record, VistA. He has over ten years of experience across many aspects of systems engineering, project management, and data warehousing. Matthew holds his Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from the Perdue School of Business at Salisbury University.
