Mukundan Srinivasan

Mukundan leads service delivery at Amida. He was previously the Chief Information Officer (CIO) for the Commonwealth of Virginia’s Department of Medical Assistance Services. There, he initiated the modernization effort of the Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) and rolled out various modules as part of the Medicaid Enterprise System. Mukundan led the development of a state-of-the-art encounter processing system for Virginia Medicaid, and Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) certified the system. He was instrumental in making Virginia the first state to go live with CMS’s Transformed Medicaid Statistical Information System (T-MSIS). Mukundan also led the implementation of the North Carolina Medicaid Information System in 2013 when he was with CSC, as well as Virginia’s MMIS in 2003 when he was with First Health Services.
