Kyle Skiven, PMP

Kyle Skiven, PMP, has extensive work experience in software engineering and consulting. Kyle has worked as a Senior Software Engineer Team Lead at AMI Entertainment Network, LLC since 2016. At Synthesis Technology, they worked as a Software Engineer from 2015 to 2016, leading a development team in maintaining and enhancing financial document publishing software. Kyle also implemented a new REST-like architecture to break down the publishing engine into micro web services and web API concepts.

Prior to that, Kyle worked as a Senior Consultant at MarkLogic from 2013 to 2015. In this role, they developed XQuery web applications and migrated legacy applications to Apache Camel Routing systems. Kyle also implemented a central data hub for human resource data.

Before joining MarkLogic, they served as a Managing Principal Consultant at Oracle from 2005 to 2013. In this position, they managed operations and finances for the department and contributed to the development of organizational strategies.

Kyle began their career as an Associate Software Engineer at Lockheed Martin from 2003 to 2005 and a summer intern at General Motors from 2000 to 2002.

Kyle Skiven, PMP has a strong educational background in both business and computer science. Kyle pursued their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at the University of Notre Dame from 1999 to 2003. Following that, they completed their Master of Business Administration with a focus on Business Administration and Management, General at Georgetown University McDonough School of Business from 2006 to 2010.

In addition to their formal education, Kyle Skiven has obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in October 2012. Kyle also holds the Oracle Java Certified Professional certification, although details about the institution and the timing of its acquisition are unknown.
