Mark Hamer

Mark Hamer has extensive work experience in financial reporting and accounting. Mark began their career as an Accounting Trainee at James & Cowper in 1990 and eventually became a Qualified Accountant. Mark then worked as a Financial Accountant at Optus before joining Barclays Mercantile Business Finance Ltd. as a Contract Accountant. Mark's next role was at Macmillan, where they served as an Assistant Group Accountant and later as the Group Chief Accountant for over 15 years. Mark then joined Springer Nature as the Department Group Financial Controller and subsequently became a Transfer Pricing Project Accountant. Following that, Mark worked at Kodak Alaris as the Interim Group Financial Reporting Manager. Mark is currently employed as the Head of Financial Reporting at Amigo Loans.

Mark Hamer obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree (BA Hons) in Accounting from the University of Portsmouth, where they studied from 1986 to 1990. Prior to attending university, from 1984 to 1986, they attended Wantage Sixth Form. Additionally, from 1980 to 1984, they attended Segsbury School in Wantage. In 1993, Mark Hamer obtained the ACA certification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
