Jose Murillo

Jose Murillo is an accomplished leader dedicated to social impact, currently serving as the Director of Place Based Initiatives at Amigos de Guadalupe Center for Justice & Empowerment, where efforts focus on eradicating poverty in the Mayfair neighborhood of East San Jose. In addition to their directorial role, Jose founded Impact Avenue to facilitate social change and has held positions such as Chief Financial Officer at Amigos de Guadalupe, overseeing significant budgets and innovative program management systems. Experience includes budget analysis as a Budget Fellow with Cook County Government and various roles in education and program coordination aimed at supporting underserved communities. Jose holds a Bachelor's degree in Public Policy Analysis and Economics from the University of Chicago.
