Elan MacDonald, ICD.D, serves as a board member for Edmonton International Airport and Atlas Global Brands Inc., and chairs the Real Estate Council of Alberta. MacDonald has held various board positions including membership on the Board of Directors for Covenant Health Canada and the Edmonton Chamber of Commerce. Previous experience includes senior leadership at Global Public Affairs and IMPACT Consulting, as well as serving as Acting Chief of Staff and Advisor to the Premier in the Government of Alberta. Elan MacDonald holds a Master of Professional Studies in Strategic Public Relations from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Calgary.
