Jone Fredriksen has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Jone started their career as an R&D Test Technician at Simrad in 2000, followed by a position as an R&D Project Engineer at Kongsberg Maritime from 2001 to 2005. Jone then joined Tendeka in 2005 as a Development Engineer in their R&D department, where they were responsible for developing software, electronics, mechanics, and hydraulics for advanced wireless well tools. Jone stayed at Tendeka until 2011.

In 2011, Jone Fredriksen moved to Multi Phase Meters AS as a Project Engineer Instrument, where they oversaw project work related to the delivery of high-performance multiphase meters. Their responsibilities included instrumentation and connection equipment, electronics, system topology, interfacing with customer control systems, documentation, and production follow-up and support. From 2012 to 2019, Jone Fredriksen worked at TechnipFMC as an Electronics Responsible - Multi Phase Meters. In this role, they reported directly to the Technical Director and was responsible for coordinating the development and redesign of multiphase meter electronics, including high-end RF electronics, external communication links, and internal processing capabilities. Jone also handled electronics requirement specifications based on API and client specific standards for subsea equipment.

In 2020, Jone Fredriksen joined Field as a Technical Authority UAS, where they worked until 2023. Currently, they hold the position of Product Manager at Amina Charging, starting in June 2023.

Jone Fredriksen attended Dalane Videregående Skole from 1995 to 1998, although no degree or field of study was specified. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications from the University of Agder (UiA) and Agder University from 1998 to 2001.
