Lars Odin Mellemseter

Lars Odin Mellemseter serves as the Managing Director of Statkraft Ventures since August 2020, focusing on investments in the green energy transition across various sectors, including resource efficiency and clean energy. In addition to this role, Lars holds board positions at UBIQ Aerospace and Amina Charging, and previously contributed as a board member for reTyre and Fluctuo, the latter of which received seed funding from Statkraft Ventures. Prior experience includes managing partner roles at Constructive Capital and portfolio management at Ascend Capital, with a strong emphasis on renewable energy investments. Earlier career highlights feature a managerial position at McKinsey & Co., where Lars advised on private equity investments, and serving as CEO of GNR Ltd., a company that significantly impacted the internet DNS infrastructure before its acquisition by Verisign. Educational credentials include a PhD in Business Administration from the University of Oxford and studies in Economics at the University of Cambridge, complemented by a BA in Social Studies from Harvard University.
