Bernard Boulay

Bernard Boulay is a Video Processing Engineer at 24i since March 2018, specializing in video analysis and computer vision. Prior to this role, Bernard served as R&D and Software Manager at Neosensys, focusing on R&D projects for the retail industry utilizing computer vision algorithms. Bernard also held positions as R&D Director at a Project Inria start-up, co-founder of ActivityRecognition, and R&D software engineer at Inria, contributing to various European and French projects. With a PhD in Computer Science, Bernard's expertise encompasses designing evaluation tools for video processing algorithms, implementing real-time event recognition frameworks, and developing hardware and software for human activity understanding. Educational background includes multiple advanced degrees in computer science, imaging, and mathematics from Université Côte d'Azur and Ecole doctorale STIC.
