Suryanarayan Sudersanam

Suryanarayan Sudersanam has been working in the software engineering field since 2016. In 2016, they worked as a Software Engineering Intern at IBM where they pitched and built a web application that accessed the database of IBM Connections through APIs and helped visualize that data. In 2018, they worked as a Pega Engineering Intern at New Jersey Courts and as a Student Associate (Strategic Events and Conference Services) at the New Jersey Institute of Technology. At NJIT, they assisted 700+ students with daily campus activities and information regarding current NJIT events. In 2019, they joined Cognizant as a Technical Product Specialist/Software Engineer (Product) where they developed large-scale web applications and headless APIs to enable 1000+ users to quote/bind and issue policies for customers with accurate premiums, using a low-code platform called Unqork. Suryanarayan also spearheaded linking of the Quoting application with 3rd party notification and signature services using APIs integrations and enhanced the UI of the application for better usability using HTML/CSS and Angular. Currently, they are working as a Software Engineer at AMISEQ.

Suryanarayan Sudersanam completed a Master's degree in Computer Science from the New Jersey Institute of Technology between 2017 and 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) between 2013 and 2017. Suryanarayan also attended Hiranandani Foundation School, where they completed their Secondary school ISC Board in Computer Science between 2011 and 2013, and their Primary School ICSE Board in Computer Science between 2010 and 2011. In addition, Suryanarayan Sudersanam has obtained various certifications, including "Kotlin for Android: Beginner to Advanced" from Udemy in July 2020, "Unqork Intermediate Training" from Unqork in March 2020, "Core Java & Android development" from HP in June 2015, "MTA: Software Development Fundamentals - Certified 2016" from Microsoft in 2015, "Soft Skills Training" from SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) in May 2014, "Bootcamp Administrator" from Unqork in June 2021, and "Certified Associate Configurator" from Unqork in May 2021.
