Prof Subhrajit Biswas

Prof (Dr) Subhrajit Biswas currently serves as the Director and Professor at the Amity Institute of Molecular Medicine & Stem Cell Research since January 2023, following a tenure as Deputy Director and Professor at the same institute from February 2017 to December 2022. With extensive experience in the field, Prof Biswas previously held the position of Assistant Professor at the Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences and was a Principal Investigator at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, focusing on leukemia research funded by the National Cancer Institute, UK. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Molecular Biology from Jawaharlal Nehru Vishvavidyalaya, a Master's in Genetics from Kalyani University, and a Bachelor's in Molecular Genetics from the same institution. Prof Biswas has also contributed to research as a Post-doctoral Fellow and Scientist Fellow, showcasing a strong background in molecular biology and genetics.
