Paras Chawla

Paras Chawla serves as the Director of Engineering Technology & IT at Amity University since April 2024. Prior to this role, Paras was the Zonal Head of IT Academics for iNURTURE EDUCATION SOLUTIONS PRIVATE LIMITED from March 2022 to March 2024, focusing on developing innovative academic programs in collaboration with universities. From February 2017 to March 2022, Paras held the position of Associate Dean of Academic Affairs at Chandigarh University, managing curriculum development and ensuring quality education. Earlier roles include Professor and Head of the Department in Electronics and Communication Engineering at Chandigarh University and the Chandigarh Group of Colleges, as well as Associate Professor at Kurukshetra University. Paras completed a Post Graduate Program in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at Purdue University, USA, sponsored by IBM from June 2021 to June 2022, and earned a Ph.D. in Microstrip Antenna and RF MEMS from Thapar University, Patiala, in January 2014.
