Based in Pittsburgh, PA, Amizade inspires empathy, catalyzes social action, and links diverse communities through Fair Trade Learning. Founded in 1994, Amizade offers volunteer programs and service-learning courses in 12 countries: Bolivia, Brazil, Poland, Germany, Puerto Rico, Ghana, Jamaica, India, Trinidad & Tobago, Northern Ireland, Tanzania, and the United States. Through these programs, Amizade has mobilized over 12,000 volunteers who have contributed more than 100,000 hours of service to communities worldwide.
