Lau Chun Tung

Lau Chun Tung is an experienced engineer specializing in physical design and semiconductor technology. Currently a Physical Design Engineer at Amlogic, Inc. since May 2025, Lau Chun Tung previously worked as a SoC Design Engineer at MediaTek, focusing on advanced node projects (3, 4, and 7nm) and timing closure through ECO methods. Prior experience includes a role as a Graduate Engineering Trainee at Intel Corporation, where responsibilities involved collaboration with international teams and support for design processes. Early career highlights include programming CNC machines at Seiko Precision Sdn. Bhd. and developing software solutions during an internship at Recogine Technology. Lau Chun Tung also gained experience in public service as a summer intern with the Malaysian Parliament, and has a background in retail as a part-time sales assistant at JD Sports. Lau Chun Tung holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Xiamen University Malaysia.
