Zaid Kawar

Zaid Kawar has extensive experience in education, currently serving as the Vice Principal for the DP Stage, IB Economics Teacher, IBDP Coordinator, and Head of the University Counseling Department at Amman Academy since April 2018. In addition to these roles, Zaid also teaches IBDP and IBMYP Mathematics. Prior experience includes working as the Operation and Maintenance Manager at Mustakbal Clean Tech from September 2016 to March 2018, a research internship at Crown Prince Foundation from June 2015 to June 2017, and an internship at NASA Ames Research Center in late 2014. Zaid holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Power and Energy Engineering from Princess Sumaya University for Technology and a Master of Arts in Leadership from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Educational background includes a General Secondary Education Certificate from Amman Baptist School and foundational education from Mashrek International School.
