Diarmuid Leahy has a diverse range of work experience spanning several industries. Diarmuid began their career in 2006 as an Assistant Manager at Aldi Ireland, where they were responsible for store operations and customer relations. In 2014, they worked as a Programming Supervisor at CoderDojo, teaching young children programming skills.

In 2016, Diarmuid joined 3XM Solution as a Web & Mobile App Developer, completing an internship to build a website and web application using PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Diarmuid then transitioned to Maynooth University in 2017 and took on various roles, including Lead Software Developer and Teaching Assistant. Their responsibilities included providing technical support, teaching core concepts of cloud computing and web development, grading coursework, and demonstrating programming modules.

From 2013 to 2017, they attended Maynooth University, where they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Software Engineering.
