Sonya Kakaiya

Sonya Kakaiya, PT, DPT, is a skilled physical therapist with diverse experience in various healthcare settings. Currently serving as a travel physical therapist at AMN Healthcare since October 2025, Sonya is completing an assignment at a Skilled Nursing Facility in the Bay Area, California. Previous roles include home health physical therapist positions at LHC Group from April 2024 to October 2025 and Enhabit Home Health & Hospice from August 2021 to April 2024. Sonya began the professional career at FOX Rehabilitation from September 2020 to August 2021. Sonya holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Augusta University, earned between 2017 and 2020, and a degree in Exercise and Sport Science from the UGA Mary Frances Early College of Education, completed from 2013 to 2016.
