Ailish Morgan-Welden possesses extensive experience in organizational coordination and advocacy within non-profit sectors, currently serving as the National Action Coordinator at Amnesty International Canada since May 2016. Previously, Ailish held the position of Regional Coordinator at the same organization and worked as an Ontario-Quebec-Nunavut Regional Organizer at The Council of Canadians from September 2014 to April 2016. Ailish's earlier roles include Lead Organizer at Inter-Action Belfast and Atlantic Regional Organizer for The Council of Canadians. Ailish began in the non-profit sector as Membership Coordinator at Atlantic Council for International Cooperation. Ailish earned a Master's degree in Community Development and Conflict Studies from Trinity College Dublin and a Bachelor's degree in History from the University of King's College.
