Jasmin Smith

Jasmin Smith is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in youth development and media communications. Currently serving as the Media Liaison and Youth Development Leader for the City of Mississauga, Jasmin organizes newsletters on community events and fosters media literacy among youth. As the Chief Development Officer at Amnesty International Canada, Jasmin leads youth activism innovation and ensures representation and accountability for youth activists across the country. Additional roles include National Youth Organizer and Planning Member of the Human Rights College, fostering collaboration among youth in human rights initiatives. In academic settings, Jasmin holds the position of President at Amnesty International at the University of Toronto and has experience managing publications. Previously, experience at Brampton Golf Club included supervisory and bartending roles. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and English from the University of Toronto.
