Andy Townend

Andy Townend is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leading administrative and financial operations across various organizations. Currently serving as the Chief Administrative Officer at LightEn and holding trustee roles at KCLSU and the Directory of Social Change, Townend also contributes as a Non-Executive Director and Treasurer at Amnesty International UK. As the Founder and Senior Board Adviser of Townend Consulting Group S.L., Townend focuses on delivering consultancy services in Ghana. Previously, roles included Chief Operating Officer at AfriKids, where the mission centered on child rights in Ghana, and Non-Executive Director at Wilton Park, an agency of the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office. Townend's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from King's College London.
