Paul O'Brien

Paul O'Brien currently serves as the Executive Director at Amnesty International USA since April 2021. Prior to this role, Paul held various leadership positions within Oxfam, including Vice President at Oxfam America and responsibilities within Oxfam International until March 2021. With a strong background in policy and advocacy, Paul's career includes significant contributions to the Government of Afghanistan as an advisor, and earlier roles at CARE International where Paul focused on advocacy and policy development. Paul holds a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and Economics from University College Dublin and a law degree from Harvard Law School.
