Alysha Khambay

Alysha Khambay is an experienced professional specializing in business and human rights, currently serving as a Researcher/Adviser at Amnesty International since September 2022. Prior to this role, Alysha worked at the Business & Human Rights Resource Centre for nearly four years, advancing from Labour Rights Researcher to Senior Labour Rights Researcher and Interim Head of Labour Rights. Additional experience includes positions at Stonewall as an International Officer and at the Cambodian Center for Human Rights as a Human Rights Officer. Alysha's background also features roles at the Assistance Association for Political Prisoners (Burma) as a Research Officer, and as an Associate Consultant at Destination Justice. Educational qualifications include a Master of Laws in Human Rights from Birkbeck, University of London, an MSc in Violence, Conflict and Development from SOAS University of London, and a BA (Hons) in History from the University of Kent.
