Dr Mandipa MacHacha Diale

Dr. Mandipa Machacha Diale is a seasoned expert in human rights, currently serving as a Global Researcher and Advisor on Gender with Amnesty International, and previously held positions as a Regional Researcher in Economic, Social and Cultural Rights. Dr. Diale has extensive consulting experience with organizations such as the Stephen Lewis Foundation and the Open Society Initiative for Southern Africa. A former Protection Officer with UNHCR and State Counsel for the Government of Botswana, Dr. Diale holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Law specializing in Human Rights Law from the University of Pretoria, along with various advanced degrees in international development, public international law, and social sciences. Professional contributions also include roles as a Peer Reviewer for Unisa Press and a Research Fellow at Åbo Akademi.
