Levi Mulei has a diverse range of work experience in finance and administration roles. Levi is currently the Head of Finance and Administration at Amnesty International in Kenya, where they lead the finance and administrative functions and implements global finance strategies and policies. Previously, Levi worked at the National Taxpayers Association as the Finance and Administration Manager, where they managed the finance strategy and was responsible for financial reporting, budget management, and human resources operations. Levi also served as a Finance Officer at the same organization, preparing financial reports, providing analysis, and supporting the Finance Manager. Before that, Levi worked as a Finance and Administration Officer at the Center for Governance and Development, where they developed budgeting processes and ensured the accuracy of financial reports. Levi began their career as a Finance Intern at Daystar University. Levi holds an MBA, BA in Economics, and is a Certified Public Accountant in Kenya.
Levi Mulei holds a Master of Business Administration degree in Strategic Management from the University of Nairobi, which was completed between 2013 and 2016. Levi also obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Kenyatta University between 2006 and 2010. Furthermore, Levi Mulei is a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya, having completed their certification in Accounting and Finance at KCA University from 2005 to 2009. In addition to their formal education, Levi Mulei has acquired several certifications relating to grants management, compliance, financial reporting, corporate governance, leadership, integrity, not-for-profit organizations management, fundraising, and grants management, among others. These certifications have been obtained from institutions such as the ICPAK (Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya), Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, University of Cape Town, Integrity Action, USAID, and MS TCDC.
