Rebecca White

Rebecca White is an experienced professional in the fields of research, communications, and advocacy, currently serving as a Researcher and Advisor at Amnesty International's Amnesty Tech Security Lab since May 2018. Prior roles at Amnesty International include Campaigner for the Disrupting Surveillance Team and Research, Campaigns & Communications Assistant in the Europe Regional Office. Rebecca has also held significant positions at The London School of Economics and Political Science as Communications Manager and Engagement Officer in the Department of Gender Studies. Previous experience includes Communications Coordinator at the Global Campaign for Education, subtitling at Ericsson Broadcast and Media Services, and various voluntary roles including support work and caseworking with organizations such as British Red Cross and Eaves. Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in French and Hispanic Studies from The University of Sheffield.
