Mike Snape

Mike Snape has a extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Mike began their career in 1988 at AstraZeneca, where they worked as a Senior Scientist until 1996. Mike then joined Cerebrus Ltd as a Principal Scientist from 1996 to 2000. From 2001 to 2003, they worked at Vernalis as an Associate Director. Mike then moved to Neuropharm in 2005 and served as the Chief Scientific Officer until 2010. After that, they joined Autism Therapeutics Ltd as the Chief Scientific Officer and worked there until 2015. In 2015, Mike became the CEO of AMO Pharma LTD and later transitioned into the role of Chief Scientific Officer in 2019, which they currently hold.

Mike Snape has a strong education background in the field of neuroscience. Mike obtained their PhD in neuroscience from the University of London, where they studied from 1985 to 1988. Prior to their doctoral studies, they completed their undergraduate degree at the University of Oxford. From 1982 to 1985, they pursued a BA Hons degree in Psychology Physiology and Philosophy at Oxford.
