Kent E.

Kent E. has extensive work experience in human resources and management roles. Kent is currently serving as the Vice President of Human Resources at AMOCO Federal Credit Union since May 2022. Prior to this, Kent E. worked for the City of Galveston, where they held positions such as Executive Director from February 2015 to May 2022, and Human Resources Specialist & Civil Service Director from May 2012 to February 2015. Earlier in their career, Kent E. worked as a Program & Human Resources Assistant at Kids Sports Network from November 2008 to March 2010.

Kent E. holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General, which was obtained from LeTourneau University from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, Kent completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Applied Sociology at Texas State University, where they studied from 2006 to 2009. In addition to their academic achievements, Kent also holds certifications such as SHRM - Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) from SHRM, obtained in March 2015, and IPMA-CP from IPMA-HR, obtained in July 2014.
