Melissa Havel, SPHR, PHR, SHRM-CP, is an accomplished Human Resources professional with extensive experience in the credit union sector. Currently serving as the Human Resources Manager at AMOCO Federal Credit Union since November 2015, Melissa supports a growing organization with approximately 300 employees across 13 locations. Prior to this role, Melissa was the Human Resources Training Manager at Smart Financial Credit Union, where key progressive HR initiatives were developed during a period of over 75% growth. Melissa’s career began at Plus4 Credit Union, where as Vice President of Strategic Planning, foundational HR processes were established, and initiatives were aligned with organizational culture and objectives. Melissa holds a Master of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Phoenix.
