Harrison Milne

Senior Mechanical Engineer II at Amogy

Harrison Milne has a wealth of experience in mechanical engineering. From 2013-2015, they were Team Captain and Design Lead of the Cooper Union Motorsports FSAE. From 2014-2015, they were a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Amtrak, and from 2015-2018, they were a Research Assistant at the Laboratory for Energy Reclamation and Innovation. In 2018, they worked as an Independent ME/PD Consultant at Milne Engineering, and in 2017, they were an Associate Engineer - Post Grad at SpaceX. From 2019-2021, they were a Mechanical Engineering Lead and Mechanical Engineer at Pave Motors, and since 2021, they have been a Battery Development Engineer - Safety & Abuse at General Motors. During their time at General Motors, they have designed and executed abuse tests for various battery cells, modules and pack designs, supported the development of a new offsite test facility for battery pack thermal runaway testing, published test procedures and reports, disassembled damaged batteries, and led design reviews based on test results.

Harrison Milne attended Whitney M. Young Magnet High School from 2007 to 2013. Harrison then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Mechanical Engineering from The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art from 2013 to 2017. In June 2022, they obtained a Design for Six Sigma - Green Belt certification from General Motors.
