Young Suk Jo has had a varied and successful career beginning in 2009 when they worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Rice University. In 2011, they took on the role of Graduate Research Assistant at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). In 2014, they completed an Internship at Shell. From 2016-2021, they held various roles at Shell, Korea Institute of Science and Technology, and most recently, Amogy, where they currently serve as Chief Technology Officer.

Young Suk Jo began their educational journey at Rice University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 2011. They then moved on to Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where they earned a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2013, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering - Energy Science and Engineering in 2016.
