Luís Ferrão

Luís Ferrão began their work experience in 2003 as a Resp. Turno at Oliveira & Irmão SA. Luís then worked at ColepCCL as a Resp. Manutenção e Engenharia - Copacking from 2005 to 2006. From 2006 to 2008, they held the role of Dir. Manutenção Equipamentos e Infra-estruturas at PECOL AUTOMOTIVE S.A. Later, they joined GESTAMP as Dir. Manutenção Equipamentos e Infra-estruturas from 2008 to 2011. From 2011 to 2014, they worked as Director Produção at PECOL AUTOMOTIVE S.A. Following that, they served as Plant General Manager at HPS - Hydraulic Cylinders from 2014 to 2015. Luís then moved to Coindu, where they held the roles of Operations Management // Corporate Continuous Improvement Manager from 2015 to 2016, and Plant General Manager from 2016 to 2018. Currently, they work as the COO at Amorim Cork Composites, starting from November 2018.

Luís Ferrão has a diverse education history. In 2022, they attended AESE Business School for the 49º PADE - Programa Alta Direção Empresas, focusing on Administration de Empresas. In 2021, they participated in the Programa Avançado Indústria 4.0 at INEGI for executive training. In 2017 and 2018, they completed a Formação Executiva in Estratégia e Controlo de Gestão at Católica Porto Business School. In the year 2015 and 2016, they also attended Católica Porto Business School but for a Mini MBA program. In 2009 and 2011, they pursued a Master's degree in Gestão Processos e Operações from Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto. Lastly, they completed their undergraduate studies in Engenharia e Gestão Industrial from Universidade de Aveiro between 1996 and 2003.
