Paul Becker

Paul Becker has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and industries. Paul began their career as the VP of Finance at OmegaBand, a venture capital funded start-up focusing on Infiniband technology. After this, they served as a Financial Consultant at David Powell of Texas before joining D2Audio Corporation as the VP of Finance. At D2Audio, they played a central role in the company's acquisition by Intersil Corporation and managed various financial and administrative functions. Paul later joined Intersil as a Sr. Finance Manager, overseeing the integration of D2Audio's financial processes and managing a facility relocation. Paul then took on the role of CFO at RayDyne Energy, a solar energy panel manufacturing start-up. Paul secured funding for the company's growth and operations. Following this, they worked as the Finance Director and BU Controller at Trident Microsystems, where they supported the VP and GM of the Set Top Box business unit and facilitated the successful sale of the unit to Entropic Communications. Paul continued as the Director of Finance, STB Controller at Entropic Communications, where they performed financial analysis, planning, and strategy activities. Later, they joined Veros Systems as the VP of Finance, where they developed machine learning algorithms for industrial machinery monitoring and predictive maintenance. Lastly, before joining their current position as the CFO of Amorphology, Inc., Paul served as the Vice President of Finance at Tanvas, a company revolutionizing touchscreen technology.

Paul Becker received their Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with Honors from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they studied Structural Engineering from 1977 to 1981. Following that, they pursued a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance from the Texas McCombs School of Business, studying from 1988 to 1989.
