Amot Investments
Mr. Ariav has been serving as external director of Amot since August 2021, providing strategic and economic consultation on various topics. In parallel, Mr. Ariav holds numerous public positions, including Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ben-Gurion University, Chairman of the Lod Development Fund, member of the Board of Directors of Latet, and member of the Board of Directors of Keshet, a doner-advised fund. He serves as Chairman of the Committee Investments of the Jewish Agency's Pension Fund, and director of various public and private companies, including Hadera Paper (external director), Tzur Shamir (independent director), Sonol, the Bernard van Leer Foundation, and Ducor. He further served as Director General of the Ministry of Finance from 2007 to 2009, Deputy Budget Officer from 1989 to 1993, and held various senior positions in Israel Chemicals Company (now known as ICL Group) from 1993 to 2006. Mr. Ariav holds a master's degree in economics and a bachelor's degree in economics and international relations, both with distinction, from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
