Prasanna Lamichhane

Prasanna Lamichhane is a seasoned mechanical design engineer with extensive experience in valve and actuator engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer at AMOT since May 2023, Prasanna previously held the position of Lead Valve and Actuator Engineer at Valveworks USA from October 2013 to April 2023, focusing on product design and CAD model development for API 6A gate and choke valves. Prior experience includes a role as a Mechanical Engineer where engineering analysis and design validation were key responsibilities, and as a Project Intern at Plymouth Tube CO, where a dry ice blasting system design led to significant cost reductions. Prasanna's educational credentials include a Master of Science in Engineering and Technology Management and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, both from Louisiana Tech University.
