Liz Sink has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Liz is currently the Director of Software Engineering at Amount, where they started in January 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Software Engineering Manager from August 2022 to January 2023. Liz also worked as a Software Engineering Manager at the same company from August 2020 to August 2022. Before joining Amount, Liz worked at Avant as a Full Stack Software Engineer from June 2018 to January 2020. Prior to their career in software engineering, Liz worked at Loyola University Chicago as a Clinical Placements and Experiential Learning Coordinator from September 2016 to June 2018, and as a Program Coordinator from March 2013 to September 2016. Liz also has experience as a Job Coach at Hopewell Academy from March 2011 to March 2013, and as a Family Advocate at WINGS Program, Inc. from January 2006 to February 2011.
Liz Sink completed their education with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in the period of 2003 to 2005. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in General Studies from the College of DuPage between 2001 and 2003. In the field of education, Liz went on to attain a Master's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from National Louis University, which they completed from 2009 to 2011. Lastly, they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Computer Software Engineering from Loyola University Chicago, graduating between 2016 and 2018. In addition to their academic accomplishments, Liz obtained a 40 hour domestic violence advocate training certificate from the Illinois Certified Domestic Violence Professionals Board in January 2006.
