Amp EV are experts in designing and installing Electric Vehicle charging solutions that run smoothly in real-world contexts.

Our teams apply in-depth electrical engineering knowledge to infrastructure design, to help organisations transition to a more sustainable energy supply.

Our infrastructure is designed to support operational need, regulatory compliance and long-term performance.
All EV chargers do the same basic job, but some have better safety features, more reliably and with smarter technical features than others. Those differences matter.

As a company, Amp EV is deliberately technology-agnostic.

Our teams can work with all Open Charge Point Protocol (OCPP) Electric Vehicle chargers, so we are never tied to a single manufacturer or platform.
The right charger depends on how your site operates, how your drivers use vehicles, what power is available and what you need the system to deliver long-term. That’s why we start by consulting properly. We take time to understand your objectives, your users and your commercial priorities before anything is specified.

We then visit your site to understand the facilities, constraints and opportunities. From grid capacity to ground conditions, access routes to future growth plans, we design around reality, not assumptions. Only then do we select and engineer a product that is genuinely fit for purpose. We don’t force a square peg into a round hole just because it comes with better commercial terms. If it’s not right for you, we won’t install it.

As an independent specialist, Amp EV is well practiced at migrating existing or inherited chargers into an Amp EV-managed OCPP environment, extending asset life without unnecessary replacement.

Amp EV is committed to this sector and established for the long-term, to make sure our systems and the legacy systems you have inherited, work efficiently, effectively and consistently. High standards are very important to us. Amp EV. Turning EV ambition into working infrastructure.
