Bethany Palmer

Bethany Palmer is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in the financial services sector. Currently serving as Head of Legal - Product at AMP since August 2020, Bethany leads a legal team navigating transformative changes in superannuation and investment offerings. Prior to this role, Bethany was Managing Counsel for Product Development and Innovation at Mercer Australia, where leadership focused on driving business growth while managing regulatory risks. Bethany's tenure at Mercer also included as Chief Legal Counsel for Australia's Financial Services. Experience at ING Australia involved collaboration on strategic investment structures, while previous roles included key positions at Zurich Financial Services and King & Wood Mallesons, where high-quality legal advice was provided across various financial services matters. Bethany holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Sydney and is a Fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia.
