Simba Mupfumira

Simba Mupfumira has over 18 years of work experience in various finance and accounting roles. Simba is currently the Finance Director at Amp Energy since 2022. Prior to that, Simba was the Global Head of Finance at WiseEnergy from 2019 to 2022. Simba also held positions as Director, Head of Finance and Administration, UK and Head of Finance and Administration, UK at WiseEnergy. From 2014 to 2016, Simba worked as a Senior Manager, UK Portfolio - Financial at Quintas Energy. Simba also gained experience in corporate accounting, cost management, and fund accounting at CQS from 2005 to 2013. Additionally, Simba has prior experience as a Trustee at the charity Makomborero and as a Finance Officer at Acelink Courier Services Ltd. Simba started their career in fund operations at Fortune Asset Management in 2003.

Simba Mupfumira obtained a BA (Hons) degree in Business - Finance from the University of Westminster in an unspecified year prior to 2002. In 2022-2023, Simba attended the Imperial College Business School for an Executive MBA. In 2023, Simba also briefly attended SDA Bocconi, CUHK Business School, and ESMT Berlin as part of the Executive MBA program. Simba has additional certifications in Chartered Management Accountant from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and in Practical Microfinance - MFI Set-up, Management, and Performance Measurement from Microfinance Without Borders.
