Deborah Hirt Neary serves as the Assistant Director of Development and Communications for both the IU Center for Global Health Equity and AMPATH Kenya, roles held since February 2017. Prior experience includes being a Board Member at Exodus Refugee Immigration from September 2011 to January 2018, where work focused on supporting refugees, and serving as Manager of International Information and Communications at IUPUI from September 2013 to February 2017. Additional positions include Group Fitness Instructor at the YMCA of Greater Indianapolis, Development Manager at The Mind Trust, and Project Manager at the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy, where responsibilities included managing research on philanthropy and nonprofit management. Deborah holds a Master’s degree in Pacific International Affairs from UC San Diego and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and International Business from the University of Dayton.
