Brian Sirgutz has worked in various roles in the media and entertainment industry since 1998. Brian began their career as Head of New Media for Wu Wear, a clothing line associated with the Wu-Tang Clan. In 2001, they became President of The Firm, a media and entertainment company. In 2004, they co-founded NoN Records and also served as the Executive Director of Aaliyah LLC, a representative to the family and estate of the late multi-platinum recording artist Aaliyah. In 2008, they founded Causecast, a pioneering firm specializing in social impact technology platforms. Brian also founded the Impact, Education, and Good News platforms which were acquired by The Huffington Post/AOL in 2011. In their role as Senior Vice President of Social Impact and Social Innovation at The Huffington Post Media Group/AOL, they led all aspects of the company's impact editorial content, business development, and engagement strategy. In 2010, they became a Board Member of the Desmond Tutu Peace Foundation. In 2017, they became the Founder and CEO of Ampathy.
Brian Sirgutz attended New York University from 1997 to 2001, where they earned a B.A. in Individualized Study. Prior to that, they attended Cardigan Mountain School.
